At first we signed up for group lessons that were strict and ineffective, and then we luckily found Hope. Nala, our nine-week-old Golden Retriever, was soon housebroken and let us know she needed to go out by ringing a bell at the door. Hope's style was so gentle for Nala and so easy for us to learn (even our four year old would help). With the guidance and training from Hope, our beautiful 66-pound puppy is the perfect addition to our family. We cannot thank Hope enough. She is truly amazing at what she does.

Consultations

Consultations are scheduled for all clients as the start to the training program. The trainer meets with you and your dog in your home for 1½ hours. This includes a full evaluation, assessment, and discussion of a training/behavior modification program for you and your dog. Dog training begins immediately in order to begin the process promptly.

Conan rings a bell to signal that he needs to be let outside to go to the bathroom.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available in your home. The trainer will develop an individualized training program designed to meet your goals as well as the specific needs of your dog. The length of the program is determined by what your goals are in addition to any specific behavior problems you wish to address. Appointments are available both days and evenings as well as during the weekend. Trainer is available for support via phone or email in between lessons.

At High Hopes Dog Training, we provide services to Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Lake Worth, Lantana, Margate, Plantation, and Pompano Beach.

Dog Grooming Preparation

All dogs require regular grooming. Whether they need a bath, hair cut, nail trim, or ear cleaning, for most dogs, the entire process is filled with stress and anxiety which in some cases, can lead to aggression.

Join our Groom Preparation workshops at Fur Crazy Pet Salon to learn the following:

  • Condition your dog to accept handling from different people
  • Acclimate your dog to the tools used - hair dryers, clippers, scissors, nail trimmers, etc.
  • Train your dog to stand still while on a smooth, raised surface
  • Transform your dog’s perception of grooming into one that is positive and stress-free
